ATTENTION ALL STRAWBALERS!! Learn the art of stucco application for your straw bale building! We have available to us a stucco workshop in Carvel on Sunday, Oct 5th starting at 9:00 am and going to 6:00 pm. We will be stuccoing a small cabin with the instruction of an Austrian Plasterer with 15 years experience playing with mud. Bernhardt Keber has built his own post and beam cabin this summer and we’ve asked him to show us his art in finishing his straw bale building. This is an exciting opportunity and the spots are going fast so sign up at Trimline Training centre as soon as you can. (Diane will be back at the Centre on Tuesday!) There is inside and outside work to be done so dress accordingly. This is hands-on work, requiring a little elbow grease and a great attitude! You will need to supply your own food and drink. This will be the scratch coat on one exterior wall of a house and scratch and finish on an interior bedroom. Time from 9 am to 6 pm.
